Words-Part-01
Words are not so easy to memorize. To memorize words we have to go through several techniques. They are-
- Learning their Bengali meaning.
- Making sentences with them.
- Learning their synonyms.
- Learning their antonyms.
- Learning which part of speech they are.
- Learning their other forms and usage. And so on.
1. Audacious
Synonyms: Intrepid (নিরাতঙ্ক), Valiant (বীর), Plucky (সাহসী), Fearless, Reckless, Rude, Insubordinate (অবাধ্য), Cheeky (নির্লজ্জ).
Antonyms: Controlled, Shy, Timid (ভীতু), Respectful, Courteous (বিনীত), Polite.
#Audacious is an adjective and its noun form is audacity.
Sentences:
- That audacious boy annoyed us all with his valiant nature.
- His reckless nature did not represent any courtesy, it was pure audacity.
- Our friend was courteous, not timid.
2. Disposal
Meaning: An action or process of getting rid of something. Someone or something is available to help you. নিষ্পত্তি।
Synonyms: Ejection, Destruction, Dumping, Jettisoning (পরিত্যাগ করা), Scrapping (বাতিল), Allotment, Allocation.
Antonyms: Construction, Beginning, Hold, Retention (মালিকানায় রাখা).
Sentences:
- I know there are lots of works to do, and so I am at your disposal.
- Please help me, I have limited resources at my disposal.
- He will have a car at his disposal for this full month.
